one of the best compliments to the vintagemobile was when jane aldridge of seaofshoes.com,  admired our tee's "the t-shirt selection was amazing." well, the tee-ship(ment) has come in, 35 new vintage tees! check them out this weekend to find the perfect one, or two or baker's dozen. here are a few of our favorites...

we are proud to announce that we are in the october issue of D magazine that just hit the shelves yesterday! get on over to the grocery store, pick up some cheez-its and treat yourself to D!

the first ever vintage glamporium is happening this fall in austin! what, you say, is a glamporium? well, it is the first super legit vintage clothing festival in texas...and anywhere near texas for that matter. guess who will be there? just guess!

the festival is also featuring the style station, big berthas bargain basement, fabulous mess vintage and many of the other fantastic vintage stores from all over. it is happening october 8th-9th and is only $5!

let's hear it for the right side!

after many a hot afternoon's pondering the bus, it's contents, and the space we have to work with, we decided to do a little remodeling job on the right side of the bus. this past friday my dad conspired with jeremy to get the job done. they took out the metal shelf that towered with all the housewares and accessories and basically made it look just like the left side of the bus.

this new rack on the right is the new and improved men's section! whoohoo! more room for more awesome clothes. we will still be carrying housewares from vintage neighbor and now they will all be at eye level...unless you are jeremy...or really tiny...either way rest assured our housewares and accessories will still be kickin in their new shelf space!

it's like the batmobile

we've all done it, even i (co-owner of the vintagemobile) had to be corrected. the name of our store is slightly difficult to pronounce.

although it has the word mobile (like mobile phone, exxon mobile, mobile, alabama) it is not pronounced like that word.

please practice saying "the batmobile"

once you have said that, just replace the "bat" with "vintage" and you will be all set!
